For anyone with a project on the go (yes, a stalled project counts!) who would love to tap into the energy and momentum of other people writing. This group offers a place where you can share your goals, hold yourself accountable, and foster some delight as you re-engage with a consistent writing practice. There will also be opportunities to brainstorm some of your challenges, try on some new writing practices and lots of celebrating each other. 

Because here, we believe that delight is just as important as discipline when it comes to a sustained writing life. (Okay, secretly, we feel it is more important but don't tell anyone.)

• This is a five-week group beginning in the first week of October.  All sessions will take place over Zoom.
• We will meet once a week, live over Zoom for 60 minutes. During this time we will establish goals for the week, report on previous goals, celebrate wins. 
• Every group member receives a private 30-minute power coaching session over Zoom with me. This may be booked at any time during the six weeks that the group is running. 
• Every other week I will offer drop-in "office hours" on Zoom for deeper Q&As around anything related to your writing project or process. You can pre-submit a question, bring a question or simply listen. Attendance optional.
• Every week I will offer drop-in co-writing sessions over Zoom where we can spend an hour quietly writing together. Attendance optional. 
• You'll receive weekly emails outlining your current goals, along with various writing exercises, challenges or prompts.

WHEN DO LIVE GOAL-SETTING SESSIONS TAKE PLACE?

Group One: Morning Motivation: Tuesdays 10:00 - 11:00 am ET

Group Three: Weekend Warriors: Sunday 10:00 - 11:00 am ET

This group is for you if:

• You have a well-established writing idea/project but you'd like some structure and accountability to keep moving forward.  
• Or maybe you're feeling blocked, isolated or tired. You want to reconnect with the joy of writing.
• You'd love access to an experienced writing coach (me!) for questions that arise during your writing process. 
• You are comfortable sharing your goals, writing experience, and process in a group setting. In other words, you can handle a little bit of vulnerable.
•  You like celebrating other people along their journey! (And yourself.)

This group isn't for you if:

• You’re looking for a writing critique group. We won’t be looking at pages or offering advice to each other. This is a space for shared energy, experience, momentum—where you get to decide exactly what you need for your writing. 
• Touchy-feely personal conversations outside the nuts and bolts of writing will make you feel like ripping your eyes out. 
• You’re brand new to writing and aren’t sure where to start. No problem. Down below, I may have just the group for you! Or you may wish to consider some 1:1 coaching sessions. Either way, jump on my email list so you'll have first dibs on any new workshops or courses that come out. 

What you’ll get:

Calling all Late Bloomers! 

If you’ve been saying you're going to write a book someday for like...years, but have no idea where to start, never seem to have the time, or deep down aren’t sure anyone would even want to read your story—get yourself into this very special group! 

We are going to cover everything you need—step-by-step—to start writing, keep writing and love writing all while harnessing the superpower of late blooming! Also, we’re going to have a lot of fun together.

                   - Foundations for a sustained (and joyful) writing practice, the process vs the product

                   - Digging deeper: what are you NOT allowing yourself to write?

                   - Step-by-step guide through the stages of writing—from draft to polished manuscript

                   - A peek inside the publishing industry 

                   - Debunking the myths of "too old", "too late", "it's all been said"

• You will receive worksheets, writing prompts, and course transcripts from live sessions.

This group is for you if:

• You are ready to release the story of "too late" and embrace the idea that now is the perfect time to start. 
• You're ready to ditch perfection, engage Beginner's Mind and have some fun bringing new skills to old stories.
• You believe that taking the time to set the right foundation for delight, discovery, and rest is equally important as learning writing skills such as character development, pacing and plot structure. 
• When you say "I'm too old for this" you don't mean learning something new, you mean having to do it perfectly, play by all the rules or care what anybody thinks of the words you want to write. We're all too old for that!
• You are comfortable sharing your writing and process in a group setting. In other words, you can handle a little bit of vulnerable. And you value other people's messy vulnerability too. 

This group isn't for you if:

• You’re looking for a writing critique group. We may share some early writing but not for "constructive feedback." This is a space where we help new things grow. Plenty of time for the pruning and editing later. 
• You are just looking for concrete writing skills such as a formula for finishing your book in 30 days. This is not that kind of workshop.
• Conversations about embodied and grounded writing strike you as woo-woo voodoo. This is that kind of workshop.
• You’re in a hurry to pump out the pages and not interested in a group that's taking time to smell—and then write about—the flowers. 

What You’ll Get:

• A supportive like-minded community of writers to help you start writing and stay writing— cheering you every step of the way.
• New tools for flowing around blocks, busting through imposter syndrome and silencing the "too old, too late, too boring" voices for good!
